The Walk of Peace from the Alps to the Adriatic is a long-distance hiking trail that links historical heritage sites from World War I.
It spans over 500 km, connecting approximately 300 World War I heritage sites across the Julian Alps, Brda Hills, Vipava Valley, Nova Gorica, Gorizia/Gorica, and the Kras to the Adriatic.
The trail promotes a message of friendship among nations, transforming former war-affected areas into messengers of peace through preserved memorials, trenches, and caves.
